Terms and Conditions

Rules for using NetWorld accounts, communities, business tools, marketplace, messaging, and paid services.

Important note

1. Acceptance of terms

  • By creating an account, accessing the website or mobile app, using APIs, posting content, messaging other users, creating a business profile, listing marketplace items, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
  • If you use NetWorld for a company, startup, institution, investor group, or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Platform purpose

  • NetWorld is a professional and business networking platform for profiles, posts, business pages, projects, jobs, marketplace listings, events, messaging, investor discovery, and related collaboration features.
  • NetWorld does not guarantee employment, investment, fundraising, sales, partnerships, verification approvals, marketplace transactions, or business outcomes.

3. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account, including activity by team members or organization users you invite.
  • You must protect your login credentials and notify NetWorld if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • NetWorld may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms, impersonate others, abuse the service, or create operational or legal risk.

4. User content

  • You retain ownership of content you submit, including profile information, posts, comments, messages, marketplace listings, business documents, media, job posts, project updates, and support messages.
  • You grant NetWorld a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, process, reproduce, distribute, and make your content available as needed to operate, improve, secure, and promote the platform.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that your content is lawful, accurate, non-infringing, and appropriate for a professional network.
  • NetWorld may remove or restrict content that violates law, these terms, community standards, marketplace rules, payment rules, or moderation policies.

5. Professional conduct

  • You must not harass, threaten, spam, mislead, scrape, phish, impersonate, distribute malware, manipulate metrics, bypass access controls, or use NetWorld for unlawful activity.
  • You must not post false investment claims, fake credentials, fraudulent job opportunities, deceptive marketplace listings, or misleading business information.

6. Business, marketplace, jobs, and investor features

  • Business profiles, marketplace listings, project pages, fundraising information, jobs, applications, and investor tools are provided for discovery and communication only unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
  • Users are responsible for independent due diligence before entering into transactions, employment relationships, investments, partnerships, or service arrangements.
  • NetWorld may require verification, additional information, or removal of listings, documents, claims, or offers.

8. Intellectual property

  • NetWorld, its product design, trademarks, software, APIs, documentation, and platform features are owned by NetWorld or its licensors.
  • You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or misuse NetWorld software or branding except as permitted by written agreement.

9. Availability and changes

  • NetWorld may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, plans, prices, limits, or availability. The platform may be unavailable during maintenance, upgrades, incidents, or third-party outages.
  • NetWorld may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  • NetWorld is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NetWorld disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, NetWorld will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost business opportunities, or user conduct.

11. Termination

  • You may stop using NetWorld at any time. NetWorld may suspend or terminate access for policy violations, legal risk, non-payment, fraud, abuse, security threats, or repeated complaints.
  • Sections covering ownership, licenses, payments, disclaimers, limitations of liability, dispute terms, and enforcement survive termination.
